Why 8:25 Photography? Not only is 8/25 my birth date, but most of the time when I look at a clock it is 8:25 (a.m. and/or p.m.). I love photography and taking pictures of the world around me.

Two years ago today…After a 3-hour bus ride from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai I finally got to stay at my favorite resort, the Horizon Village and Resort which backs up to the Tweechol Botanical Garden. This is one of the pictures I took while walking around.

Two years ago today…it was our last day in Chiang Rai, Thailand and we went to four different locations.
First stop was at Doi Tung, this is where the King’s mother had a house and beautiful gardens (upper left). Second stop was the Khun Korn Waterfall, a 1,400 meter hike through a rugged trail that was well worth it (upper right). Third location was to one of the Karen Tribe locations to feed the elephants (lower right). And our last stop of the day was at Doi In Cee to see the large, white Buddha that sits atop one of the largest peaks outside of Chiang Rai (lower left).

The city of Chiang Rai, Thailand has the most ornate clock tower that I have ever seen. Each night there are 2 “light shows”…seeing it was a memorable experience.
