8:25 Photography
Why 8:25 Photography? Not only is 8/25 my birth date, but most of the time when I look at a clock it is 8:25 (a.m. and/or p.m.). I love photography and taking pictures of the world around me.

From the archives - 11/15/09 While walking the dogs every morning this hummingbird was sitting on this one area of fence…usually at the top, but while I was taking pictures of it, it moved to this lower part of the fence and…Gotcha!! :)

In camera (D5100) multiple exposure. I shot the moon first then moved over to the tree paying attention to where I had placed the moon in the previous exposure. This was my second attempt as I didn’t pay attention the first try.
I combined the portion where the hummingbird was into this shot (yes, it was in the same spot) using photoshop, then used topaz adjust 5>brilliant cold. Also dodged and burned the moon.

These are two vertical shots combined in photoshop. Luckily they were taken against a white house so there wasn’t much masking to do. This little sweetie is very kind and patient to let me get very close (within 3’) to take its picture.

I was trying to get pictures of this hummingbird while it was feeding on a plant. It hovered briefly in front of the fence before flying away.
